Like many aspects of singer Michael Jackson’s life, his religious faith remains a mystery. Rumors are that he had embraced Islam this past November, with others declaring that these reports are invalid. Jackson’s family has not yet announced funeral and burial arrangements, but there is speculation that Jackson might be buried in accordance with Islamic tradition.
There are some clues that perhaps Michael Jackson had indeed embraced Islam:
* His older brother, Jermaine, has been a Muslim for the past 20 years and has spoken publicly about his faith. He reportedly talked to his brother about Islam and was hoping that he might convert. When announcing his brother’s death, Jermaine commented, “May Allah be with you, Michael, always.”
* In 2005-06, Jackson spent nearly a year living in the Muslim country of Bahrain.
* In November 2008, several news agencies reported that Michael Jackson had embraced Islam in a brief ceremony in Los Angeles. Both the Telegraph and NY Post tabloids ran stories about the conversion.
However, there are also signs that perhaps these assumptions are misleading. Several Muslims who were reported to be present or involved in Jackson’s conversion process have recently made statements indicating that they did not attend any conversion ceremony, and indeed had never even met the singer.
The Canadian Muslim singer Dawud Wharnsby Ali posted on his blog the following clarification: “Though our professional circles did cross-over slightly with various common professional acquaintances - I never had the honour or pleasure of meeting Michael Jackson personally, nor did we ever correspond on matters of our professions, personal lives or faiths.”Singer Yusuf Islam (aka Cat Stevens) also posted a statement: “Contrary to persistent press rumours, I was not at any kind of conversion ceremony for Michael Jackson.”
In the end, only God knows the intentions of people’s hearts, and He Alone is the One to judge.
Jackson’s family has taken his body to a private funeral home, are awaiting an independent autopsy, and arrangements for his burial are confidential at this time. Michael Jackson’s recently-released will, dated in 2002, does not mention any burial wishes. If the family believes that Jackson was indeed a Muslim, then he would presumably be buried in an Islamic burial ceremony (janazah). Such plans are not known or announced at this time.

By Jamie Hanson
The Grease musical stage show goes back to 1950s was first released in Broadway’s Eden Theater in Feb. 14 1972. It was a successful musical and longest running show ever. In 1978 the show was produced as a movie to crash the box office. Grease musical show is a parody of high school life, full of simplicity. It depicts a bout teens in love.
The scene opens with the California beach where Sandy Olsson and Danny Zuko meet during summer vacation. They enjoy the beach together and when the vacation ends they part with each other with broken heart, expecting never to see again. Sandy happens to be from Australia and Danny from America. But fate has some thing in store for them and the story has to move. Therefore Sandy’s parents decide to stay in America. Danny plays the role of a leader of T-Birds, a group identified with black-jacket jersey whereas Sandy mingles with the Pink Ladies a group of pink wearing girls. Sandy finds that in America she is in the same school as Danny. She observed that Danny’s character is totally different in school than what she had seen in the beach as a lover boy. Danny being the group leader cannot only hang on on one girl. Though Sandy’s friends try to reunite them, Danny stays with his cool image bringing Sandy to tears.
On an attempt to cheer her Frenchy and her gang invite Sandy for a sleep over at Frenchy’s house. They all get fed up with Sandy finding her choking on a cigarette and could not even taste wine. Sandy is also shocked with the idea of piercing her ears but when insisted upon by Frenchy she does it, later on vomiting seeing blood. Even with all these changes she still loves Danny. Many scenes it is seen that both of them do care for each other and finally get reconciled when Sandy sees Danny falling down while running and went near him leaving every body.
After a while Danny takes Sandy to a live TV show and they dance which features several songs of the 1950s. In the meantime Cha Cha past girlfriend of Danny forces her way to the dance to win the contest. Sandy, upset leaves the place. Later on Sandy goes with Danny to a drive-in movie where Danny gives her a class ring while accidentally touching her chest and sandy kisses him realizing he respects her. With the plot developing Danny back in the car has his arm around Sandy and intends to play with her, which she vehemently opposes and rushes out of the car throwing the ring at him. Danny repents and laments the loss.
Next we see a car race where Danny is taking part and he wins the race in a neck-to-neck competition. His winning is celebrated by the Pink Ladies and the T-Birds together. Danny and Sandy come to the function dressed flamboyantly and both are again attracted to each other to be reunited again and thus they sing the song ‘ you are the one that I want’. The last song which was sung by everyone and Danny and Sandy disappear to the sky in Danny’s car.
